TRIL presents research on computational modeling for CO2 storage projects at XXV ENMC in Brazil

/ October 29, 2022/ Uncategorized

Brazil appeared on the new Global CCS Institute’s Status Report 2022 as a relevant country in the Americas to lead carbon capture and storage initiatives, especially in reducing 40 Mtpa by 2025.

By following our studies in this topic, from October 19 to 21, we presented the article “Analysis of injectivity functionals based on static and dynamic parameters for CO2 storage projects” at the XXV National Meeting of Computational Modeling (ENMC), held virtually in Brazil.

The paper is authored by our Ph.D. student Wilker Lima and has the participation of Yhasmim Tigre, a scientific initiation student. Also, supervised by Prof. Gustavo Oliveira, the paper had the collaboration of Dr. Abouzar Mirzaei-Paiaman, now a researcher at Texas A&M University.
